Sen Joe Lieberman Coming to Chabad of Boynton

BOYNTON BEACH, FL [CHI] — On the heels of its thirteenth, Bar Mitzvah Year celebration, Chabad-Lubavitch of Greater Boynton will continue its week-long celebration of its Bar Mitzvah Gala by hosting the renowned Senator Joseph Lieberman.

Wednesday, January 16 at 2:45 PM, The Senator will be making a special visit to The Synagogue to congratulate the Judaic center on its phenomenal growth within this most densely populated Jewish region outside of Jerusalem.

Chabad announced at the Gala Event, graced by The Ambassador of the United States to The Commonwealth of The Bahamas; The Honorable Ned L. Siegel, its plans to expand onto six acres, in a $10 million expansion campaign for Judaism.

Senator Lieberman will be paid tribute by the little school children of Chabad’s prestigious preschool. The children will present The Senator with a beautifully handcrafted Silver Pushka, a charity box, for him to take on his travels. In this way, teach all whom he meets, to do what The Senator does best; reach out and help your fellow, with charity and Justice.

It is on this theme that the Senator will then address the assembled, as the staunch US Senator whom he is, allied with the glorious country of Israel, America with Israel share the common goal of bringing Justice to the world.

Rabbi Sholom Ciment, Spiritual Leader and Director of Chabad Lubavitch of Greater Boynton said “The conscience of the world, has its home in Israel and The USA, this is something readily apparent to Senator Lieberman and his wife Haddasah as a holocaust survivor, whom this glorious country allowed to rise from its unconscionable ashes to become the nominated first lady to the Vice-presidency, for the Democratic party just a few years ago.

It is these evils, fresh in the minds of so many Jews, which The Senator will address. The evils of terrorism; Iran, Hamas, Al Queida, and all the others who both America and Israel must face together and bring swift action to, as partners in bringing justice and charity to this world.”

The entire community is invited to attend the event, free of charge, at Chabad-Lubavitch of Greater Boynton, 10655 El Clair Ranch Road, Boynton Beach, Florida 33437 this Wednesday, January 16 at 2:45 PM sharp. All the assembled must be seated at that time, due to security regulations.

After the Senators remarks, he will allow time for photographs and speaking one on one with those from amongst the community who have a message for him and his vaulted position.
