Hopefully someone can teach Zalmi or whoever put that poster together the proper use of apostrophes…..it should be “Network with the Pros” not “Network with the Pro’s.” Successful people should know how to write correctly! Not knowing how to use correct grammar can be an obstacle to success. And you look dumb.

  • #4 is a moron

#4 your a moron! Do you think Zalmi put this poster together? I wouldnt worry about proper grammar when you cant even use your brain cells as clearly you cant

  • Why not

#6 I dont see the works for men only! I hope woman & girls show up as they can be entrepreneurs as well, plus in this community we need the woman to start business’s while their husbands are “learning”

  • apostrophe

    apostrophe:
Abe’s teaching = Abe is teaching
Abes’ teaching = the teaching of Abe

so if its before the “s” then the apostrophe is used as a replacement for the “i”.
If it comes after the name it then its showing possession.

And yes that was a silly comment…after all writing and grammar is intended for communication…and the poster communicates the intent just fine.

  • to #4

While I agree with you. Being so hostile rarely reflects well. Perhaps were you to tone it down a notch, it might have been a little better received.

  • Shniklepoo

I wonder, Maybe they might be hiring for spell checkers.. I think we have a few fingers on a keyboard with time for free work and honest comments and criticism.

I would try writing a perfectly written e-mail to the CHYE inbox.

I should be rich figuring this out

  • Doubtful

How many of these people have actually MADE money? And how many have done it more than once? Whatever….

  • To #15

I bet your confidence will take you to wondrous places! no?

Part of the problem of having a this type of local organization are the comments from people like you who the lack of confidence in your own people and community, we are a community full of smart savvy frum worldly people with big ideas.

Everyone wants to make money, the few who do dont show it off. Neither should you.
