Tonight: $10 Chickens for Kaporos in Two Locations

Rabbi Shea Hecht, Chairman of the NCFJE, has announced that Rabbi Dovid Fisher and Mr. Morris Gad will be subsidizing the cost of Kaporos chickens for Crown Heights Community. The chickens will cost only $10.

The NCFJE will be providing kaporos chickens, as it has been doing for decades, in front of the NCFJE Headquarters at 824 Eastern Parkway, today (Thursday) beginning at 5:00pm, with shechita beginning at 10:00pm.

This is an unprecedented low price and an opportunity for everyone to save money while performing kaporos for all members of their family.

For the convenience of Crown Heights residents, the NCFJE will also be having Kaporos in Bais Rivkah’s Parking lot, on Montgomery St. between New York and Nostrand Aves. from 9:30pm until 2:00am with Shechita.
