Achdus Event: Moving Crown Heights Forward

In a powerful display of unity, community leaders gathered for an inspiring evening of achdus, focusing on moving Crown Heights forward. The theme of cohesion and collective growth resonated throughout.

Rabbi Braun, Member of the CH Beis Din, set the tone with heartfelt words of encouragement and support. 

Shmuly Rosenstein, Vice Chairman of the Vaad Hakohol, provided an update on the CHJCC’s current initiatives, emphasizing the vital role of community involvement in the ongoing Vaad Hakohol membership drive. This collective effort will drive the growth of the Beis Din.

Rabbi Yossi Garelik delivered a stirring address, urging attendees to seize the opportune moment and harness the community’s energy to foster greater involvement and progress.

Shul Representatives (Netzigim) approved a motion to create a Committee to set the framework for furthering the process of an election for the Beis Din.

    “Let a stranger praise you, not your own mouth” Proverbs,27.2 That is the Torah way. It does not mean that the members don’t deserve credit. But not thru self aggrandizement. That is the American politician way. If they do a good job then the community should make them the Malave Malka. Enough of using the jejune word” Ahdus” for collective self praise

    So community funds were spent on a party for these people. Have a bash on our dime! Better use the community money for security to make the streets safer.
