Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights Announces New Location and Head Staff

Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights day camp is happy to announce that it will be opening for its eleventh summer.  It is also excited to announce its head staff, and that there will be a new location.

The older division will be led by a team including returning Head Counselor, Rabbi Nosson Kuperman, learning director Rabbi Levi Shuchat, and Program Director Mendel Stein.  The younger division will once again be led by Head Counselor Morah Anat Ohana.  The directors are Rabbi Reuvein Mizrahi and Rabbi Zvi Lipchik,

The New Location is………. Oholei Torah’s 8th grade building at 417 Troy Avenue between Montgomery and Empire. It will host our older division – boys going into first grade and up, including the Work and Play program for boys coming out of 6th – 8th grade.  

The younger division, which includes the Kiddie Camp for 3-5 year old boys, and the play group, for two year old boys and girls, will be at Darchai Menachem.  

Besides for learning, sports, crafts and trips, Gan Yisroel offers opportunities for special activities, such as bike and scooter trips, nature programming, occasional night activities, lots of individualized attention, and the highlight of the summer: father-son camping trips!

Campers come from all our neighborhood yeshivas and also many Shluchim. Last year, our campers came from 40 different yeshivas and schools!

Breakfast and lunch are provided. Transportation is available from Crown Heights and East Flatbush.
