Czech Prime Minister Kindles Prague Menorah

On Tuesday evening, hundreds of Jews gathered at Prague’s main square to join in the Chanukah lighting by Rabbi Manis Barash, Head Shliach to the Czech Republic. Jews from all walks of life joined local government officials, Israeli ambassador Daniel Merom, and the guest of honor, Prime Minister-elect Andrej Babiš for the event.

After the lighting, the festivities continued in joyous dancing with israeli singer Omer Tal, and continued in the beautiful Chabad center for a grand reception and celebration, attended by the prime minister.
