20,000 Witness Menorah Lighting at Nets’ Game
A huge Kiddush Hashem was made last night at CTeen’s fourth annual Jewish Heritage Night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Aaron Slate of CTeen North West, NJ, recited the brachos and lit the basketball menorah between the first and second quarters of the game.
Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, executive director of Merkos 302, then shared the Rebbe’s Chanukah message with the sold-out crowd of over 20,000 people.
Dudu Fisher sang the national anthem and performed during halftime.
