CGI-Montreal Campers Compete in ‘Hakhel War’
Campers and staff at Gan Yisroel-Montreal were split into three teams for ‘Bog War,’ the first month of camp’s version of color war. This summer, the competition was themed ‘Hakhel War,’ with the three teams named “Hakhel Es Ha’am-Achdus,” “Leman’an Yilmedu-Torah” and “Veshamru La’asos-Mitzvos.”
During the multi-day competition, the campers and staff learned new songs, watched plays and skits, played games and races and, most importantly, learned lots of ‘Mishnayos Baal Peh.’
The competitive Bog war ended last night after the final play. All the plays were most enjoyable and full of toichen. It was a wonderful war and everyone is waiting to hear the who the winner is – which will be announced today as the camper’s enjoy the first session’s grand trip.
