Children from the local schools gathered in front of 770 for a special rally in honor of Gimmel Tammuz.

  • TOO HOT and No WATER

    I thought the rally was very nice but there needs to be much better planning involved. To put children in 80 degree heat and not provide water is unfair and dangerous. The sun was beating down right in our faces. At the parade they offered water but today there was no water offered. Teachers had to pay out of pocket and run to local supermarkets to get water and there wasn’t enough. Parents could have sent water if asked. This was poorly planned. Next time please provide water or tell parents to send. And for a few extra dollars a canopy would be greatly appreciated!!

      My daughter cried to me when she got home how she nearly fainted! My son in OT- the rebbes gave out water! Thank you! How do you make a rally outside, in the heat, with no water?????

    Very nice program but no excuse for having no water in 81 degree weather i am sure out of the 3 dollars we gave they could have gotten water poor planing

    My class didn’t have seats (we sat on the edge away from our school on some odd chairs we found) but we got big bottles of water! Good part was we were in the shade

    Why was there a need for music at a Gimmel Tamuz event?? How about some clowns? There’s a time and place for everything..

    when you send your kids to the fun fair or park i guess you dont send any water either…
