
NYC’s Expanded Crackdown On Bus Lane Violations Begins
A 60-day warning period starts on Monday for drivers who block bus stops or improperly use bus lanes. People will receive warning notices in the mail before they’re hit with summonses, which start at $50 and go up to $250 for repeat offenders, according to the MTA.
Over 30 bus routes are equipped with the technology, the MTA said. These 20 New York City bus routes are known to have cameras that catch lane violations:
