I am deeply saddened by the passing of this very special neshama.
One of my favorite teachers in school, spoke at my bar mitzvah, we ran camp together in Wales and we were zoche to spend many hours together sitting in his seforim packed dining room discussing many things personal and communal.
I always went to him for advice as he had a keen sense of what was important and what wasn’t and always managed to find the right words and approach, always with his chassidisher point of view, signature smile, warmth and of course a good joke.
A truly wonderful person whom I will sorely miss.

As a young married man I took advantage of his wise council to guide my learning. In later life I helped in some way with his adventure camp. We lost touch but his upbeat and light-hearted approach will always be remembered.
