Boruch Dayan Hoemes: R’ Hershel Kupchin, 74, OBM
With great sadness we in inform you of the sudden passing of Reb Hershel (Tzvi Hersh Nissel ben Nechama) Kupchin OBM, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. He was 74 years old.
He was well known among the congregants at Tiferes Menachem/Rayim Ahuvim as very nice, eidel and quiet. He worked as a locksmith in a hardware store in Williamsburg.
Earlier this week he fell into a coma after a seizure and sadly he passed away early Friday morning.
He is survived by his wife Sandra and their children, Yitzchak Moshe Kupchin, Malka Dunton, Devorah Leah Schon, Chana Bracha Seff, and Ariel Nuchum Kupchin.
The Levaya will take place today, Friday, 11:00am at Shomrei Hadas and passing by 770 at around 12:00pm.
