With sadness we inform you of the passing of HaRav HaChossid Rabbi Yitzchock Tzvi Eisenbach OBM, from the senior Lubavitcher Chassidim of Jerusalem. He passed away on the second day of Shavuot at the age of 80.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of HaRav HaChossid Rabbi Yitzchock Tzvi Eisenbach OBM, from the senior Lubavitcher Chassidim of Jerusalem. He passed away on the second day of Shavuot at the age of 80.

R. Yitzchok Tzvi was known as an educator who taught thousands of children, and as a gifted chazan. He is one of the founders of Ramat Shlomo, a Chabad neighborhood in Jerusalem who was also known for his dedication to the Rebbe and his Mivtzoim.

He is survived by his wife, Sara and children, Rabbi Shimon Eisenbach (Eilat, Israel) Rabbi Menachem Mendel Eisenbach (Kfar Chabad, Israel) Rabbi Shlomo Eisenbach (Jerusalem, Israel), Rabbi Moshe Eisenbach (Beitar Illit, Israel) Hadassah Orenstein (Nachlas Har Chabad, Israel) and Leah Butman (Chadera, Israel).

He is also survived by his sister Ahuva Rosenvasser (Tel Aviv, Israel) and his brothers, Rabbi Sholom Leib Eisenbach (Montreal, Canada), Rabbi Avrohom Eisenbach (Jerusalem, Israel) and Rabbi Chananya Yosef Eisenbach (Argentina).

The Levaya took place Friday in Israel and he was buried on Har Hamenuchos.

Rabbi Sholom Leib Eisenbach will be sitting Shiva at his home, 6303 Trans Island, Montreal, beginning  Sunday until Thursday morning. Shacharis 8:00am, Mincha and Maariv 8:30pm.
