With sadness we inform you of the passing of Dr. Herman (Hirsch Leib Ben Boruch) Lenczynski of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil passed away on Friday, 27 Tammuz 5773. He was 80 years old.
Dr Herman as he was affectionately known, was a pioneer of religious Judaism in Rio and instrumental in the success of the Beit Lubavitch in Rio and Yeshivas Machane Yisrael in Petropolis serving as its president for many years. He was a revered and loving Dr known For his genuine care for a fellow yid.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ettel Braindel Lenczynski and their children Mrs. Esther Cohen (Shluchah in Birmingham, England) , Mrs. Rachel Simonowits (Shluchah in Barra, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) and Rabbi Moshe Lenczynski (Shliach in Leblon, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil).
