Boruch Dayan Hoemes: Reb Yitzchok Shpringer OBM

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Yitzchok Shpringer, Mashpiah and member of Hanahala in Tomchei Temimim 770.

Reb Itche was a fixture in 770, always involved with helping Bochurim and doing the Rebbes Mivtzoim.

On Erev Shabbos he fell ill and calls went out to say Tehillim for him, but a short while ago the sad news of his passing came in.

The Levaya will take place today, Sunday and will be leaving from Shomrei Hadas at 1:40pm and passing by 770 at around 2:00pm.

    When i arrived in 770, 20 years ago he found me a bed the same day. He was a chassidisher and down to earth maspiya he understood bochurim. May he beg the Aibersher for moshiach…..

    More should be written about his many years as the Rebbe’s shliach in Baltimore where he served as mashpiah to many and was an unforgettable Rebbe in Yeshivas Shearis Hapleta (now known as Kochav Yitzchok). Many of his talmidim, are today major rabonim throughout the USA and remember him fondly.

    I remember when I first came to 770 boruch hashem as a ball teshuvah and Rabbi Shpringer studied the Mamer with me for hours. He took me under his wing to show me how the way is. Very few yids like him today.
