Photos: Melbourne’s Yud Aleph Nissan Tank Parade
The past Friday, a Yud Aleph Nissan Mitzvah Tank Parade was organized by the local Bochurim in honour of the Rebbe’s 111th birthday. The parade, consisting of 11 Mitzvah Tanks, drove through many busy shopping strips in the local areas, bringing much awareness and publicity about Pesach and the Rebbe’s Birthday.
Matzos, Shabbos Candles, Pesach Guides and Lamplighters were handed out on Mivtzoim, and many men put on Teffilin.
More than 50 children, Bochurim and Baale-Baatim participated in the Parade, and more than twenty drivers participated in the entire coordinating of the pickup, driving, and return of the Mitzvah Tanks.
The Mitzvah Tanks bared the QR code and twitter and facebook links that all the other Mitzvah Tanks in the world also had, which greatly increased the publicity of the parade.
