Sukkah Mobiles of Park Heights, Baltimore Maryland
This Sukkos, Chabad of Park Heights, in Baltimore, Maryland had four Sukkah Mobile’s. There were hundreds upon hundreds of people raving about the Sukkah Mobile’s. As they were at the Baltimore Raven’s Game, Shuls, School’s, Assisted Living Centers and house parties.
This was the 9th year Chabad of Park Heights has been driving around Sukkah Mobile’s, under the leadership of Rabbi E. Lisbon. It was started 9 years ago with one Sukkah Mobile by Rabbi Shlomo Rothstein, currently Shliach on campus in Vanderbuilt Universty. In the past few years it has grown to four Sukkah Mobile’s under Shmuel Rothstein (Rabbi Shlomo Rothstein’s younger brother).
Shmuel was very thrilled with this year’s success, “This year we had an amazing turnout, and next year we plan to have more Sukkah Mobile’s.” Baltimore, Maryland has one of the largest Jewish poulation’s in the United States. “We want more and more people to come to the Sukkah Mobile. The only way to do this, is to expand and get even bigger.” Bringing the holiday of Sukkos to Jewish families, is one of the most amazing ways to celebrate Sukkos.
