WNYC Caller Blames Gentrification on ‘Criminal Jews’
Last Thursday, The Brian Lehrer Show on WNYC Radio did a segment on the phenomenon of gentrification in New York City, and its effects on the city’s residents.
One of the callers to the show, a woman who claimed to be the victim of gentrification and called what she was experiencing ‘genocide,’ shocked the program’s listeners by blaming the trend on ‘criminal Jews.’
She was immediately interrupted and cut off by the program’s host.

So every state that gets gentrify there is a group of people to blame. Smh.
When white people move into a neighborhood, it is negatively labeled “gentrification!” However, when minorities move into a neighborhood, it is celebrated as “diversity!” It seems more than a few are becoming bored with this simplistic form of reverse racism.
Fed Up
Genocide hardly, being priced out, not pushed out and being murdered are two different things! This woman should visit other parts of the world and see what real genocide is all about. She must have read “Mien Kampf” (My Struggle), a disturbing book written by Hitler. In his book, he blamed the Jews for the world’s problems. To this woman, read this blog and feel free to comment!

I w2as listening to the show live. Two people actually called up blaming it on the Jews. Thank G-d , the radio host (who says she lives in CH) cut off the calls. But it was scary to hear the virulent anti-Semitism. On the other hand frum people have to be especially careful not to make a chillul Hashem, to treat people well and not make a profit at other people’s expense.

The problems with the housing in New York is as follows: (a) over priced and under valued; (b) not enough places for people to live either through buying a house or renting an apartment; (c) too many people–more so then there is room for in the city and (d) as long as people need space–then there will be this problem always.. Most important is the notion–which my late mother had–that New York or the Jewish sections of New York is the only place a Jew can live!!!
