  Its wonderful that people are ready to sacrifice hard earned money for the sake of the murdered.

  Please help me understand what does the Niftar benefit from the money rewarded to apprehending the murderer?

  Or is it for the sake of the living, that we are ready to give this money, so that they can be tried and punished – which we hope will deter others from committing crime?
  Does anyone think that this will really make a difference?
  (maybe creating a public commotion, like getting all Jews from the five boroughs to come and demonstrate in front of the 71st precinct will accomplish more in that direction. Look what’s done in France in retaliation of the murder there).

  Or is this just to pacify our own conscience and pained hearts with the sense of revenge?

  Or maybe this growing sum of money can be put to use in more productive ways "closer" to the niftar’s heart – perhaps giving it to his son that’s getting married, or to help poor families in the community in his z’chus?

  I imagine that the one we are trying to elicit do disclose information regarding this cruel murder is not someone from our own community, which would have stepped up without being rewarded, rather, its someone from "another" community. Do we think that giving the money to someone from another community is a good cause and benefit for the Niftar?

  Come on. Give credit where credit is due.

  There are many ways that you and I can spend other people’s money.

  Those that are givng money to apprehend a murderer on the loose may actually be saving another persons life. That is in addition to bringing justice and peace of mind to our community.

  So how about applauding Mr. Green’s and Anonymous for their generous gestures. Oh, and maybe start a fund of your own to go to the other important causes.

  I’ll be sure to donate to your fund.

  All this Reward money put up is very nice and the donors should be thanked and appreciated. However this reward money stems from the heart of frustration that "something" needs to be done and so "maybe this Reward Money will help".

  To solve a crime, you need to use your HEAD more than your Heart. The common thug and gang member will kill someone for $5 and will turn in their own mother to the Police, if then can make $10 on the deal. You don’t need countless thousands to get a low-life to talk.

  A Yid who has Information on the case doesn’t need any reward money to talk. The common thug, who will talk only for the reward money, is not exactly the type of person who reads CrownHeight.info !!!

  In short: Rather then adding piles of money upon piles of money (another 5 thousand, another 10 thousand) to ENRICH the Pocket of the Thug who will ultimately "Spill the Beans" even for $5.00, instead, the Money, (even a much smaller amount) would produce actual and speedy results if spent on Flyers and Distribution into the hands THE Lowlifes’ who have the information and need the $5 to make them talk!

  I think that it’s true what Zalmen #2 says that highering the reward will assist the investigation. However Zalmen #1 has a point made that people should also help the poor chosson and/or donate in the family’s z’chus!

  The Meyers office feels the heat for using the City Wide Police Dept. for financial gain to be Ticket Writers, (against people who make the innocent mistake of speaking on a Cell Phone or Forgot their Seatbelt) instead of using them for their intended purpose to Search and apprehend REAL Criminals, like Muggers, and Killers etc.

  They are also afraid of the scheduled demonstration this Sunday and that the Meyer will get Hell for his part in issuing orders to the commissioner to use the Police for Financial Gain for the City Budget (Tickets = Cash for the City).

  The way to solve this entire mess is to deliberately "Leak" misinformation that he was not the intended target. Although it will be denied by the C.O. of the 71st Precinct, yet the "doubt" will remain in peoples minds and it will take off the "Heat" from the Meyers office and the Police Dept. because people will speculate and be unsure.

  When Mrs. Lapine was Raped and Killed in C.H. several years ago, the exact same Tactic was used by the Police and the City officials.

  They then "Leaked" a rummer that they found skin, under Mrs Lapine’s fingernails which proved that the "perpetrator was White and not Black". That was of course proven to be a Lie when the Black man was apprehended later, but it "Did the Job" to ease the tensions at the time, because it implanted "Doubt" in peoples minds, that perhaps there is no reason to suspect a Black Perpetrator.

  Everyone knows that the rank and file Police officer follows orders form his Captain. The Captain follows orders from the Police Commissioner and the Commissioner follows orders from the Meyers Office.

  It’s no secret that orders from the Meyer to use Police for Traffic Tickets, while enriching the city, is costing Jewish Lives. Every second wasted writing a Ticket and on a "Stake-Out" to catch someone talking on a Cell Phone is precious time wasted that could have been used instead to search for real criminals.

  Catching a Rapist or Murderer and putting them away for life (hopefully) cost the City Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars, for ONE Criminal, just to Maintain his time in Jail. Plus the Cop could get Shot trying to apprehend them.

  Not so Catching an Innocent old lady without a Seat Belt – Then the City Makes Money on the deal and no one ever got shot by a Jewish Old Lady without a Seat Belt.

  This is not a C.H. issue. It’s time that Jewish Leaders and Politicians, from all areas of the City speak out against the Meyers Policy to sell out our lives for the sake of Ticket Money.

  By the way:
  Efraim got shot in C.H. for the only reason, because he went to move his car at 1:00am, in order not to get a TICKET the next morning!!!

  I was told There is a letter in 770 calling for a protest in front of the 71st precinct to take place at 2 P.M. on Sunday. I was told of this letter by someone else and I would therefore confirm the exact time.

  If I recall correctly the Rebbe’s directive after the arab massacre in K’far Chabad way back in the 1950’s, where at least one bochur (boy) was murdered by the subhuman fedayeen; the Rebbe stated, paraphrasing, that now the K’far needs to build and progress in ever-greater proportions. This is the best response to subhuman, anti-HaShem, anti-Mankind behavior.

  The murderer took an innocent life, and we will "fight" back by adding life, by being confident that "Goodness" will ultimately triumph over temporary and fleeting "darkness".
