Lag BaOmer Bon Fire in Crown Heights
Crown Heights, Brooklyn — In a beautiful program setup for children and parents many participated and enjoyed themselves. Live music was played by Yossi Cohen and Yossi Fraenkel accompanied him with his singing. The program began with the 12 Pesukim being recited by boys and girls following a Lag Baomer story told by R. Levi Goldstien.

It was really a beautiful program and a shame it wasn’t advertised better. The fire was mesmerizing, the music was superb, with two very talented singers, and the jugglers were a riot…it is so great to see young people with talent who are using it for kedusha. Kayn Yirbu!

This was such a great idea, to build the fire in a safe location where everyone could enjoy it! My son had a great time, and we had zero pressure to make a bonfire in the back yard…Next year in Meron!

disturbed
great event! thank you so much to the organizers.
if i can add a little negative…
1. the was no clear separation between men and women because too many couples wanted to stand together. i can handle a little pushing but please remember that some people here are still shomer negiah…
2. the police acted really cruel and disgusting to our people, even when they are doing something for us they need to treat us like animals. there was no reason that the police needed to be constantly driving back and forth yelling at anyone who dared to step behind the barricades or on the sidewalk the police did not need 2!! lanes of “emergency traffic” i can assure you that they would never dare do something like that to our dear colored neighbors.
sorry for being the first to write negative but these 2 things bothered me so much that i had to leave and miss such a beautiful event
enjoy life
To disturbed
your right about the speration between the men and woman. but it can only take one person to step foot past the barrier to have and accident and get burnt
