Basil Serves Food Portion Visible to the Naked Eye

Purim 2011: A regular patron of Basil Restaurant was pleasantly surprised when his food came to the table and he discovered that it was actually large enough for him to be able to see it with his naked eye.

I was actually able to see my twenty dollar portion of pasta without even having to squint,” the shocked customer told crownheights.info in an exclusive interview. “Until today, I trained myself to get full on the microscopically-sized, overpriced entrees, so it was nice to receive a somewhat substantial serving.

Upon discovering the serious mistake, the chef immediately rectified the mix-up. He approached the customer’s table, apologized for the error, then took the pasta dish and replaced it with the standard bird-feed-sized portion.

“On the bright side, at least the magnifying glass that I always bring with me to the restaurant came to good use after all”, the customer told us.
