150 Girls At Creative Kids’ Club “Food Fun Event”

More than 150 girls attended an evening of fun and entertainment this past Thursday at the Jewish Children’s Museum.

The program was a project of the very popular Creative Kids’ Club and featured a sampling of original activities that were very well recieved by the participants.

The girls, ages seven through ten, created beautiful flower pots with a twist: the flower pots were made of fully edible materials! The kids also had an incredible time wrapping “candy sushi.”

Organizers would like to thank the fifteen volunteers who were there to ensure that each and every participant enjoyed herself to the fullest.

Chayle Kopfstein, director of the CKC, reports that the winter sessions have been incredibly succesful with a record number of children in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. She said that the schedule of electives for the spring ’06 session will be out soon!

Options for the upcoming session will include some old favorites such as First Aid, beginners’ guitar, Construction Crew II and dance, plus some exciting additions such as juggling, drawing classes and party planning!
