Fire Forces Residents onto Fire Escapes

A fast moving fire broke out in an apartment building this morning. The incident took place in the upper floors of 693 Albany Avenue, which is on the corner of Rutland Road, where the fire forced resident out onto the fire escapes.

It took firefighters nearly 20 minutes to take control of the blaze, the cause of which is being investigated.
