In addition to the delicious meal of salad, soups, wraps and pastas, the attendees were treated to a funfair of out-of-this-world Chanukah fun. A Dreidel moon bounce in the banquet hall was packed with jumping children throughout the evening. Six different arts & crafts tables included sand art and velvet picture coloring. At the Lego station, children were surrounded in hundreds of Lego pieces, where many opted for Chanukah themes by creating dreidels and Menorahs. At the donut table, every child turned into a food decorator – adorning their donuts with as much cream, chocolate, and sprinkles they could manage.

All party-goers were entertained by Lipa Shmeltzer and the eight-piece “Brothers” band from Monroe. The band played lively Chanukah songs throughout the party, and the kids couldn’t stop dancing!

The evening culminated in a unique Menorah ceremony; lighting a giant ice Menorah with the Friendship Circle logo carved into it!

Throughout the party, parents and volunteers took the opportunity to connect and share stories. The event lasted an hour past the approximated end time because nobody wanted to leave! When the time finally came, however, every child left with their own wrapped Chanukah gift!
