CHJCC Launches Life Insurance Awareness Initiative
Protecting Our Families. Strengthening Our Community.
The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council (CHJCC) has announced the launch of a new community-wide Life Insurance Awareness Drive, the first in a series of initiatives focused on family stability and financial security.
The program aims to ensure that every household in Crown Heights has access to clear, honest information about life insurance — one of the simplest and most affordable ways to protect loved ones.
In many cases, strong coverage can cost less than $1 a day, offering families peace of mind and long-term stability.
“This effort is about strengthening our community’s foundation,” said Shmuly Rosenstein, Acting Chairman of the CHJCC Board of Directors. “Life insurance is a responsible and achievable step that reflects the values of care and preparedness we hold as a community.”
CHJCC hopes to achieve broad participation through local shuls and community centers, which can serve as hubs for information and brief awareness sessions. Each participating location will receive materials and support, along with access to Crown Heights–based licensed insurance brokers who can guide residents directly.
All participating professionals will be Crown Heights residents, ensuring that families receive guidance from trusted, community-minded experts.
The drive will run through the end of December and marks the beginning of many CHJCC community-wide initiatives, including future projects on financial planning, legal aid, and health awareness.
