Oholei Torah’s 8th grade class spent time Thursday morning learning CPR, and how to respond in life threatening emergencies.
The course, given through Crown Heights Hatzalahs’ community CPR training initiative, educated the students on how to respond in such emergencies as choking, or if a persons’ heart or breathing stops C”V.
The class was taught by long time Hatzalah volunteer Rabbi Eliyohu Davis, who lent his extensive experience to teaching the bochurim.
Over the past year, Crown Heights Hatzalah has helped teach the community these life saving techniques. To date, over 1000 members of the Crown Heights community have received the training.
Special thanks to the Oholei Torah PTA, for sponsoring and arranging the course.
