Rabbi Segal Resigns as Maggid Shiur at Oholei Torah

Crown Heights Rov, Rabbi Yehudah Segal, sent in a resignation letter to the Oholei Torah Administration. The resignation comes after teaching at the institution for 33 years.
The Rov sent the letter on Lag B’Omer, and recieved a letter accepting his resignation from Rabbi Yosef Rosenfeld, the Menahel of the Yeshiva.
In his letter, Rabbi Segal noted the change over of staff in the yeshiva, and felt the time was right for him to devote more of his time to communal matters. On that note, he requested permission to end his tenure in Oholei Torah at the end of this school year.
In an acceptance letter, Rabbi Rosenfeld that despite the difficulty in losing such a presigious teacher, with the requests for him to see to the needs of the community he gives accepts the resignation. Still he made the request that Rav Segal should still come to the yeshiva from time to time to give a shiurim to the students.
