This Weekend: ULY’s 2 Day Extravaganza
Lubavitcher Yeshiva goes out of their way to make an event that shows the appreciation for the community’s support of the Yeshiva. This 2 day event promises to have something for everyone.
This Motzei Shabbos, will be a night to remember. The United Lubavitcher Yeshiva is holding their 15th annual Chinese Auction, Motzei Shabbos January 18th, Yud Zayin Shvat. The Men’s auction features four exclusive raffles which are included with admission plus a free scratch off ticket. Badchan Rabbi Yankel Miller will entertain. This event also features Beer, Burgers and hot buffet. Wine by the Case is hosting a Wine Tasting, as well.
The prize selections feature a Tanya printed in 1900 by the Rebbe Rashab, a console piano, trips, jewelry, toys, Sheitels, Seforim, electronics, $15,000 cash prize and much, much more!
On Sunday there is a two part entertainment for women. At 6:00pm Mrs. Chana Sharfstein will present the fascinating documentary of the life of a Chossid, Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Zuber. This extraordinary film presents the history of Chabad and the world during the past century.
Then at 8:00pm guest speaker, author David Zulberg will address the crowd with his informative Life transforming diet.
David spent seven years studying in Israel and is considered one of the foremost experts in Rambam’s medical works. He is author of the best-selling book The Life-Transforming Diet, which has motivated thousands of readers to succeed in losing weight and gaining health.
His latest book The 5 Skinny Habits will assist you in making the right changes at the right pace. He has been featured in numerous national media outlets, as well as the Jewish Press, The Jewish Journal and The Jerusalem Post.
