Lag Baomer Programs for Post-Sem Women

After receiving rave reviews for the Tu’B’shvat, Purim and Yud-Aleph Nisan programs the need to continue creating and organizing such events was apparent. In The Heights will be hosting two events for Lag Baomer.

With this in mind, In The Heights will be launching two new projects for single, post-sem women.

The first program to introduce will be known as “Shabbos in the Heights”. We will be hosting a weekly Shabbos afternoon class with topics of interest for this demographic.

The first such course will be taking place on Shabbos Yud Zayin Iyar, April 27th at 5:00 pm at the Bais Levi Yitzchok Shul ( Albany Ave. Entrance). Rabbi Daniel Schonboch, a marriage and family therapist, and the author of “Getting Closer”, will be speaking on the ‘“Art” and “Science” of dating’.

Additionally, in honor of Lag Ba’omer an exhilarating concert featuring Esther Freeman and Rivkah Eilfort will be taking place on Motzei Shabbos (17th of Iyar, April 27th) at 10:00pm at the Bais Levi Yitzchok Shul.

Appetizing food, a dance floor and an enjoyable Kumzits will all be included at the thrilling event. A 5$ -$10 donation is encouraged.

    I’m so glad there are event for single young women going on in Crown Heights – kudos to the organizers.

    I’d just like to point out that single women DO have more interests than just dating and marriage. Please keep that in mind when choosing speakers and discussion topics. Yes, we’re all trying to make our way through the dating scene unscathed, but we have so many other things that interest us as well. I stopped going to events since it seemed like they were all about dating, dating, dating.
