Senator Joins Friendship Circle Purim Party
State Senator and Brooklyn Borough President contender Eric Adams joined over 150 children with special needs and their families this Sunday morning for a grand Purim Party.
The children were greeted by costumed volunteers, Hamatash baking, Gragger making and Mask decorating. The crafts was followed by an address by Senator Adams, who is a great friend of the FC, participating in holiday programs and events. The Megilla was read by Rabbi Sholly Vaizer with our volunteers on hand to assist those that wished to continue the crafts during the Laining.
The program had a perfect finish with an exceptional performance by the “Budapest Juggler” Sholomo Bongart.
The Friendship Circle would like to thank Mr and Mrs Zalman and Schochat for their support of this years Purim Programs.
special shout out to our dedicated volunteers headed by coordinator Mushky Gurevitch for dedicating their Purim for the Crown Heights children with Special Needs.
