Oholei Torah Prepares for its 56th Annual Dinner
Educational Institute Oholei Torah, the Flagship school of Chabad Lubavitch, is in its final stages before their 56th Annual Dinner to be held this Sunday, May 15th, 2011, at the Gutnick Ballroom in its Eastern Parkway Campus.
The annual event, which was zoche to receive a letter from the Rebbe each year, is a highlight for the mossad, its friends and supporters.
This years honorees include Yosef Yitzchok and Batsheva Popack, Guests of Honor, Rabbi Zushe and Esther Wilhelm, Educators Leadership Award, Zalman and Pessie Schochet, Chessed Award and Shlomo and Chaya Drimmer, Dinner Chairpeople.
With many special guests joining this event from all over the USA, it will surely be a most memorable evening, and a true kovod for Oholei Torah.
Rabbi Nosson Blumes, Director of Programming, who has been coordinating the Dinners for almost 15 years, says that the Dinners have been growing tremendously both in quality and in quantity.
The Sparks Boys Choir prepared special niggunim for the event, the foremost caterer Ben Kohen is preparing a unique menu, Mendel Meyers Photography will be capturing the event and Unique Image Advertising is designing the printed material. One of the most sought after design decorators, Tammy Polatsek has been hired to ensure the décor of the evening will be most spectacular.
Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, Executive Director, commented that the honorees and the special guests who will be attending the Dinner have a gone above and beyond the call of duty ensuring the success of the event, and he thanks them for their support, time and effort.
