One class which excelled tremendously; Rabbi Tzwiebel’s 4th grade class, where nearly every student in the class has memorized 3 entire prokim of Tanya by heart and some boys are already completing their 4th!
The program begins from the very young 1st grade, where already 5 students have completed the entire 1st perek by heart and the rest are not far behind and it goes all the way until Bar Mitzvah, where we encourage every student to complete 12 prokim to memory.
The Yeshivah staff are extremely proud of the tremendous effort and achievements on the part of the students.
Next Sunday, G-d willing, the Yeshivah will be hosting Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom, who will be presenting each student who has completed an entire Perek by heart with a special award in memory of his daughter Bat-Sheva A”H, all parents and members of the community are invited to attend.

Beautiful.
I’ll get blasted for this, but I’ll say it as it is anyway.
12 Perakim Tanya Baal Peh should be something a 12 year old works his kishkas out on, after learning a large quantity of mishnayos/birchas Yaacov/Hazinu baal peh leading up to his 12th birthday.
I wish the boys and the mechanchim huge hatzlocho in this amazing endeavor, but let’s not lose sight of the basics of Chinuch. Knowledge of Chassidus without a firm foundation of Nigleh is simply missing the point! (Of course, just one Jew’s personal view…).
The only real example that was transmitted to Chassidim of the Rabbeim learning Baal Peh was the Friederdike Rebbe’s proficiency in the entire Seder Moed of Mishnayos at the age of 8!
