Jewish Teenage Boy Has Item Stolen, Assaulted in Crown Heights

A fourteen-year-old Jewish boy playing with his toy laser was targeted in Crown Heights Sunday by a group of non-Jewish youth who stole his laser and assaulted him.

Crown Heights Shomrim was called at 8:35pm, minutes after the incident Sunday evening, arriving within moments to find that the group had already left the area.

According to the victim, he had been playing with his laser when the group of four males approached him and asked to try it. The boy agreed, allowing them to use and play with it before asking for it back, the group refused, and after the Jewish boy pulled out his phone they attacked him.

Hatzalah was called to treat the victim and the police arrived as well, joining Shomrim in an attempt to locate the group responsible. Unfortunately the group was unable to be found and a police report was filed.
