Shofar Thief in Crown Heights Makes Off with 1,250 Shofars
A thief made off with 1,250 shofars from a Crown Heights home Thursday, the New York post reported.
The thief stole the horns after breaking into the homes garage.
Over 30 boxes containing the ancient musical horns were taken. The horns were made from the Kudu antelope in Africa.
The owner, a 70-year-old-man, was inside his garage in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brookyn, when he discovered that a thief had come in through the garage door.
The thief has yet to be caught.
