Christopher Burgin, a 29-year-old African-American man, was shot and killed in Crown Heights shortly after midnight Thursday night.

29-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed Last Night

Christopher Burgin, a 29-year-old African-American man, was shot and killed in Crown Heights shortly after midnight Thursday night.

The victim was hit several times in the torso in front of 1308 Prospect Place, near the corner of Schenectady Avenue, at about 12:12am, according to a police report.

He was taken by EMS to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident, though a police investigation is ongoing.

    I will write all the comments to save everyone time:

    1) Why does everyone live in CH? It’s so expensive bla bla bla. Move to Miami bla bla bla. It’s hot like crazy there and there are no jobs, but move there anyway ‘cuz the housing is cheaper.

    2) Everyone needs to carry a gun. Whether you know how to shoot or not, carry a gun. Experts say it’s better to give the per your wallet and your phone, but you can be extra smart and try to shoot him.

    3) Carry mace! That’s right, that stuff made out of crushed pepper will fend off a group of attackers.

    its so sad that they are really duped by their leaders. Where are the leaders to say something about this??
    Don’t their lives matter? What is wrong with those people that they don’t learn that their lives matter. Those leaders are using them and they don’t even know it.
