Man Chokes Crown Heights Woman Who Rebuffed Him
Police are searching for a suspect they say choked a Crown Heights woman after she rebuffed his advances.
The incident happened on July 16 around 7:00pm, at the intersection of Pacific Street and Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights.
The suspect approached the 25-year-old woman and solicited her, but she refused. At that point, the suspect choked the victim and ran off, police said.
The woman did not lose consciousness during the attack.
Police released a surveillance photo, and said the suspect has a scar over one eye.
