Two NYPD Officers Executed while sitting in Marked Car

A gunman shot two uniformed NYPD officers ‘execution style’ while they were sitting in a marked patrol car on the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins Avenues in the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn at around 3:00pm. Both officers have died from their wounds.

The New York Post reported that the two officers were working overtime as part of an anti-terror drill when they were shot “point blank in their heads.” The suspect then fled to a nearby subway station, where he was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The post also reported that the suspect was a fugitive wanted in connection of the murder of his girlfriend in Baltimore Saturday morning. The suspect also made disturbing posts on Instagram detailing his crazed intention of murdering two cops as ‘revenge’ for the death of Eric Garner.

Both officers were evacuated to Woodhull Medical Center, where they were both pronounced dead. Their names have not yet been released pending the notification of their families.

  • Shame

Shame on the mayor and other elected officials who are lax and don’t have the toughness to tell it to the liberal community the way it is!

  • demonstrator

I bet this dog was one of the demonstrators.
Let the dogs loose and this is what happens.
My condolences to the NYPD and to all of us law abiding citizens.

#1 You are right, political correctness will do this country in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fed Up

Enough is enough, it is time that the cops take the streets back from the thugs! It is terrible that they do not have a mayor to back them up! Two cops were shot for no reason, and now their families are up to their ears in grief and sadness. At least the thug, who shot the cops’ is dead. He was a lowlife that contributed nothing to society and served no purpose! Also, the taxpayers won’t be stuck with his legal and jail expenses. R.I.P. to the officers, who died as heroes! As for the thug, rot in h–l!!

  • The result of hate mongering

This is the inevitable result of the hatemongering of Reverend Al and his ilk. Those 2 officers were stationed there due to the BLACK on BLACK violence that kills thousands of young black people every year, but that does not prevent the protestors and so called “African American community leaders” from sleeping well at night, it’s only when a lowlife criminal is killed by the police while resisting arrest that the blood boils in their veins. These 2 cops are not he first victims of Reverend Al’s venom, when will he be called to account?! Certainly not by his buddy, our “progressive agenda” mayor Mr. Bill!

Keep legitimizing their behavior by letting them demonstrate everywhere their animals there’s a court of law in this country And you have to respect that The problem is like the famous saying goes you could take them out of the jungle but you can’t take the jungle out of them in the animal kingdom there’s no law and order you behave like that you get treated like that

Has everyone lost their common sense? Ismaaiyl Brinsley was wanted for a murder in Baltimore and shot his ex-girlfriend before he hit the grit to NYC–her condition is still such that the police haven’t even questioned her as of yet AND he has a criminal history in Georgia. The Eric Garner case has nothing to do with this–he was using that as a lame excuse. Yes I am up in arms about this just as I was up in arms about Garner–both were murders and I don’t sanction either case. The no bill against the officers in the Garner case was totally unjust. Unfortunately we can’t bring Brinsley to trial as he committed suicide. Please let us stick to facts and not bring in emotions or biases.

read the Huffington Post comments on this issue.
they totally blame the police and are offended that anyone ties it to Sharpton.
THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT HAMAS

    Are you normal?
Garner was a criminal, resisting arrest. He got what he deserved, and the grand jury agreed.
Then some sick liberals (like you?) went on a mad rampage, destroying property and calling for revenge.
Now 2 innocent cops were executed. And you dare to compare the two cases? Shame on you.
My condolences to the families of Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. May they rest in peace.

I had no idea that selling cigarettes on the streets is a crime so horrendous that it warrants the death penalty because that’s what Garner was doing when approached by the police–if every person who sold something on the streets was executed then tons of people would be dead, including me. At most Garner should have gotten a warning or if not his first time then a misdemeanor. No I did not go on a mad rampage in NYC–I live in Washington state–but I don’t sanction looting under any circumstances.I support law and order and always vote yes on levies for police and fire–if I didn’t I’d go live in a lawless place like Somalia. Because of my husband’s career, 20 years US Army and currently a Department of Defense guard at an army post, I’ve lived/traveled in many places here and in Germany/Korea and consequently have had to get along with many types of people and not make snap judgments based on superficial appearances. It appears to me that Garner’s crime was in being an African American. For the record I’m a 52 year old Jewish female, White/Mexican business owner of a pet sitting service.

you should examine the unfortunate situation:
      Garner was resisting arrest.
He was very overweight with a hart condition and other health issues.
The cause of death was not the restraining hold.
The incident was initiated by a call to the police by a minority business he was harassing.
The team of responding police was lead by a woman sergeant who is African American.
The New York City police dpt is a minority majority.
The two assassinated officers were minorities.

Look, maybe I read this wrong, but other than this terrible trauma, this idiot fanatic POSTED HIS IDEAS ON INSTAGRAM– Now, I’m full of respect for the police, always giving up their own lives for us citizens to survive. But, shouldn’t there be some kind of, I don’t know, maybe something like a tracker, on all these websites? Anyone who posts something crazy… well, perhaps they’re drunk or something, but it should still be followed up on! Many calamities could have been avoided if so.
Truly, this whole situation is terrible. Moshiach NOW!

I think the problem is that race is not an either/or concept. “Hispanics” are also Black (has anyone ever been to Brazil?) and Asian (been to Central America, anyone?). The absurd bloodlust that seems to have taken over the leftist anti-police minds of many is, simply put, delusional. There is no such thing as “race”. At least, “race” doesn’t actually exist any more than santa claus.
