Man Executed on a Crown Heights Street
A man was shot and killed while riding a bike on Union Street. Police are calling the homicide a ‘well planned execution’.
The incident occurred early Sunday afternoon on Union Street near Utica Avenue. Witnesses said that a man jumped out of a light colored SUV and shot 31-year-old Aaron Powell once in the head, returned to the vehicle and fled down Eastern Parkway, while the victim succumbed to his wounds.
Police called for a ‘level one mobilization’ and dozens of officers and detectives descended on the scene.
One witness was able to record the license plate of the fleeing vehicle and police are seeking a number of suspects in connection with the homicide.

How can this occur? I thought N.Y.C. was a “gun-free” zone. My bad, guns for the criminals, but not for those who obey the law. Too bad the suspect didn’t try to shoot someone in a state that respects the 2nd Amendment. It would be good news if the suspect got shot and killed. It would mean one less parasite that the taxpayers would be spared of!

the shooter made a left hand turn off of union street onto the north bound lane of utica ave then the shooter either made a right or left hand turn onto eastern parkway if the shooter made a left off utica ave onto eastern parkway then he fled west bound, if the shooter turned off utica ave and made a right hand turn onto eastern parkway then they would be fleeing east bound on eastern parkway.

The victim was my little brother! We all know that lots of streets are now loaded with cameras especially utica and eastern pkwy. These detectives don’t give a ****! Google my brother’s name! He was a good man doing right and some scum took his life. The shooter and driver both wore mask which isnt mentioned and the vehicle was found and still… Nothing!
