Nelson Arrested Last Night

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Terrance Nelson, Crown Heightses most infamous car burglar, was arrested last night after an encounter with a group of Bochurim. Nelson was attacked and beaten after they accused him of breaking into a car, police later arrested him based on his history and the allegations.

Officers were skeptical of the Bochurims story, some of them members of the NYPD’s C.O.P program, which the police sergeant at the scene said “was full of holes and did not make any sense,” but he yielded and arrested Nelson due to his criminal history.

Nelson, 43, is tied to Crown Heights through his mother who lives on Union Street. He is currently out on $2,500 bail from an October 30th Arrest stemming from a felony charge of criminal mischief. He is also in the midst of litigation on four other arrests, ranging from a trespassing charge from three weeks ago, to possession of a controlled substance among a few other public nuisance arrests.

One of the Bochurim claimed that he was attacked by Nelson, while he in turn claimed that he was beaten by the group and even received medical attention for scuffing on his legs and bruising to his face.

A police source noted that Nelson has not been arrested on an auto related crime in a number of months.

    waw the police got it right this time by arresting the obvious criminal and not arresting the bochurim. The perp does not look injured or beaten (the bochurim need some practice in that area). The cops can go back to eating donuts, as usual crown heights residents did their job for them.

    Why is he ou t on a mere 2,500 bail when he is in the midst of other litigations involving criminal misdoing including drugs???     Not like the good old days. You have someone who was a menace like that and a few good men (bochurim) would be sure he would be lying in the back of an alley somewhere – – -that is, if the red devil didn’t get to him first. Then he would really have had it.
