Thief Apprehended by Alert Bystanders

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A shoplifter was apprehended earlier today after stealing from Kosher Town grocery story.

The thief, a Black male, attempted to make off with a box of Mr Clean detergent, which he apparently took from the stores basement, but was chased down by the store owner and a number of bystanders.

The group managed to flag down a cop at the intersection of Empire and Troy, who promptly arrested the thief.

Its a problem when a man has to steal laundry detergent. It says something about the place we call home.
