Election Is Just 16 Days Away – Today Is The Last Day To Change Your Address If You Have Moved
We are at the end of the line, mail voting has already started, today is the last day to change your address if you’ve moved since the last election, early voting starts at the end of this week, election day is just 16 days away.
We are in danger of getting saddled with a young hothead, who would probably be the worst mayor this city has ever seen. There has been a push like never before to get people out to vote, it’s never been needed before as it is now, and we have never before had the power of numbers in our community as we do today. But all that only works if we actually go out and vote.
Besides for mayor you will be voting for many other city positions, including city council.
City council is a crucial part of the governance of this city, with a say on development, passing laws, the city budget and discretionary spending.
I am running for city council in district 41. We as a community need all the representation we can get in city hall, and I aim to be part of that representation.
Don’t get me wrong, I will work together with every other elected official in the city, regardless of what they do or say, since ultimately my job will be to do whatever it takes to better the lives of New Yorkers.
To get there I need your help and support.
I need volunteers to go door to door canvassing for votes, I need volunteers to be stationed around polling sites for early voting and voting day. And I need financial support.
Today is the last day before the election that contributions from NYC residents will be matched x8 by the city. Anything I can raise today will help me finish first on Nov 4th. So please contribute now: https://bit.ly/4iKuKAs
Thank you.
Yehuda Shaffer,
Candidate, City Council D41.
