Vaad Hakohol Releases Important Community Notice: Guidelines Regarding Today’s Protest

Following the planned protest scheduled for today, as well as the protests and footage from last week, the Vaad Hakohol has reached out to the Central Yeshiva at 770 and the United Talmidei Hakvutza, requesting that they issue an announcement with guidelines for the students.

We call on all institutions, neighborhood residents, and guests to follow these guidelines carefully.
The key points are as follows:

– It is critical to avoid falling into provocations, especially situations staged to be recorded on video.

– Students are requested to remain inside 770 and continue learning.

– Do not engage with or confront the protesters.

– Allow the police to handle the situation.

Everyone should remain alert and, if necessary, act to protect themselves and the community — with wisdom and caution.

Below are the official messages from the organizations.

The “protestors” who are really good at it (infuriating) are likely professional paid agitators. Laugh at them, and say “how much were you paid to be here?” If they say “nothing,” say, “fool, everyone else was.”
