No Rainout: Thousands Pack 770 for ‘Achdus Hour’

Steady rainfall throughout Monday did not bode well for the event dubbed ‘Achdus Hour’ and at the last minute was moved into 770, downstairs. Nevertheless, 770 was packed to capacity and many more who simply stood outside and sang Niggunim.

Actually I was there with my kids and I was VERY unimpressed. We had to go into 770 but the problem was that we COULD NOT get anywhere near 770. We were walking towards the ramp and all of a sudden we were in the men section. I felt like telling the organizers to come to my house last night to put my kids to bed and to deal with them in the morning. My first thought was do they really care, they knew the whole day that it was going to rain. I got numerous phone calls to remind me about this event and to make sure to bring my kids did they not think that maybe they need a backup plan in the case that it will be raining??? If it was just me that went by myself its one thing but when I am taking my kids and they are tired and need to go to sleep then its disgraceful and the next time they make an event like this not a lot of people will come. I don’t mean to knock anyone but I just feel VERY let down

the rebbe wanted his chassidim in 770!!!!!!!!!

if this was a regular farbrengen from before gimmle tamuz you wouldint complain about these things you would push and shove until your tiered kids would see the rebbe.

      moshiach now AD MOSIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there. It was so much achdus.

In fact when in the middle the video changed and we saw the rebbe on the porch it may my heart feel great to see we have leaders in our community.

    hashem yirachem. v’dal.

  • To Sam

The video wasn’t meant to change. The Tzfatim broke the previous Rebbe video and put in where everyone is just singing Yechi to the Rebbe. B/c why not?!?!

What I don’t get is why we can’t get along for ONCE without all the politics!!?!?!? Someone please shed some light!!

    • to "to sam"

it isn’t right to say that the tzfatim
are the one’s hew r causing the problem.
      1. 2 out of 3 of the bouchrim involved
      did not learn in tzfat
      2. it was only 3 pepole (out of hundrads)!!
      3. many tzfatim r very angry with those particular bouchrim
      4. i was involved in arranging the event
and know for a fact that a clip
      were everyone is singing yechi
was going to played by the end
      enyway

it’s amazing to see that 5,000 – to – 6,000 pepole actually showd up

      ad masai
the ikar is we should me zoche lageulah hamitis vhashlaima
      now!

you are not one of the event’s organizers, if you really were you would know how to spell correctly. so stop spreading your false rumors.
