Yossi Hackner’s ‘Cry for Help’
Reiterating his promise to keep in better touch with the community, Yossi Hackner wrote a ‘tell-all’ style letter which he titled ‘a cry for help,’ in which he laments the lack of any real change, Rabonim still fighting, and being promised funds and assistance which never came. He concludes with an appeal for the desperately needed money to pay the Rabonim.
A Cry for Help
Greetings to all,
As I promised at ‘Meet the Candidates’ that I will communicate better than previous Board Members of the CHJCC and the Vaad Hakohol, here you go:
It’s been almost one year since the election; not much has changed from the first day I got the keys to the Kingston Ave. office until tonight, as I sit and write this letter.
The two Rabbonim, Rabbis Osdoba and Schwei, are as far apart as they were when I got in.
R’ Osdoba is waiting for an apology from R’ Schwei for embarrassing him in public, and to write on paper that he will not do it again.
R’ Schewi has tried several times to reach out and make “peace” with R’ Osdoba, but it was all in vain.
There was an election for a third Rov due to this whole conflict – thinking that it would bridge the gap. The essence of the election was challenged, but there was limited to no response from the parties that called the election (1. either because they wanted to push their agenda, 2. because they wanted to put an end to this everlasting saga, or 3. because there was no need to respond), and the election happened.
Then there was the question of how to pay for the newly elected Rov, so there was a meeting with a few people from the community – maybe 15-20 – who presented a $50,000 check to Vaad Chairman Zaki Tamir with two conditions: 1. that they put two additional signatures on the Vaad account, and 2. that the money only goes to R’ Braun.
Zaki said that if they give money it must go to ALL the Rabbonim, to which they agreed, and he rejected the additional Signatures. He also rejected the $50,000, saying it was inadequate and that he wanted at least $100,000 to Cover half of the Beis Din’s expenses ($30,000 for R’ Osdoba, $60,000 for R’ Schewi and $98,000 for R’ Braun), to which they agreed, promising to give $50,000 now and another $50,000 another day.
He left WITHOUT ANY money.
The next day, Mula Chanin came to persuade him to take the $50,000, saying he will get the other $50,000 as promised, but that he be the additional signature on a new account, and that he (Mula), with his excess staff and expertise, will help Reestablish the Vaad if he’s given control. He will set up the fundraising for Mas Hakohol, work out some kind of fundraising to bring in more than just the regular money from Mas Hakahol, and turn around Kashrus. The Vaad voted on this, and we all agreed we would work together.
During all this time the Rabbonim still didn’t talk, and R’ Osdoba challenged the Election of R’ Braun.
And yet, since the Vaad had not heard otherwise from R’ Rosenberg, they went ahead and paid for the plane tickets of R’ Braun and his family from Australia – which was to the tune of $17,200 – knowing that his qualifications are still being challenged.
During this time it was promised to R’ Braun that they will pay for his moving expenses, without knowing the cost.
R’ Braun came. He has an office and is being treated equally if not better by the ENTIRE VAAD. Yes, his office does not have a window, but it’s a temporary office.
However, there is a MAJOR issue that’s been brewing for some time and no one seems to notice, or, in the traditional orthodox way, they just bury their heads in the sand.
R’ Braun went ahead and sold his house in Australia, then put all his belongings in a container to ship to the US, but the money that was promised to the Vaad never showed up, and Mula took himself out of the scene. Now the blame is falling on the Vaad to come up with $18,000 by May 10, 2011 for moving expenses!
May I ask who is taking responsibility for these irresponsible actions?
If 1,000 people voted for a Rov to come here, and these same people don’t pay their dues to the Mas Hakohol, how do they expect any of Rabbonim to get paid? And why put a Rov with a wife and 11 children through such torture!?
Yet, there were 15-20 People from the community who put up money for his salary, and promised to pay for his plane tickets and moving expenses, but so far have not.
Why then should the community at large – or the Vaad – be responsible for the remaining $18,000 that is needed prior to May 20, 2011 (which is this Friday) to free the container before it goes into storage and takes on more fees, and is a bigger burden on whoever will one day step up to the plate to take responsibility for the mess these 15-20 people created?
(We used the money from the original $50,000 to pay for his plane tickets because we were promised we would get the other check any day.)
If what I’m saying is too pessimistic, that is because of what I’ve seen in the past year and what I’ve learned from the history of the Vaad Hakohol – that the community at large does not support the Rabbonim! Never mind Rabbonim that don’t Get along.
So we are now at a crossroad. Do we let the container go into default and take on additional charges (the moving company will charge $85 per day for storage)? Or will the community come together just as they did at the elections, and step up to the plate when we most desperately need them?
While I ran for the Vaad to try and HELP, in no way was I given King Solomon’s wisdom to fix all the problems.
WE NEED APPROXITMATLEY $19,000 BY FRIDAY TO PAY FOR THE CONTAINER.
WE NEED TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN ALL THE RABBONIM!
Otherwise, all of us have just been wasting a lot of time.
If there are people in this community who care about the Kovod of the Rabbonim, with NO OTHER AGENDA other than Kovod Talmidei Chachomim and Kovod Hatorah, then I’m here to devote my time, effort and energy to make the small difference that I was put on this world to make. If not, and YOU want to keep things as status quo, then at least now you have what to think about.
feel bad
Why don’t I feel bad?
no free ride
you just sold your house use your own money to get ur stuff.
Don’t expect the community to pay the bill
the job was here in NY its your job to pay your way here and come to the job and if you can’t find a way to come here for the new job don’t apply for the job and expect other to pay your way.
So cal chabaf
Now you all see why the three ring circus that is played out for Ll to see on your “schuneh” is such a joke to us normal people who love outside. We don’t know whether to laugh at you or cry with you but we certainly don’t respect you or want our kids to have anything to do with you.
As a community you are the laughing stock of the Jewish world
mendel hendel the rebbe
why don’t you go to chanina the ganif and all the other fakes who screamed the rov the rov let them go pay now
U made the mistake u pay for it
I think you should pay the bill, you authorized him coming on ur own you pay for it. here it is in your own words
“And yet, since the Vaad had not heard otherwise from R’ Rosenberg, they went ahead and paid for the plane tickets of R’ Braun and his family from Australia – which was to the tune of $17,200 – knowing that his qualifications are still being challenged.”
Now you pay for it
Marko Polo
Mr. Yossi Hackner
You need to ask payment for Mas Hakahol from the fake votes
The fish stink from the head
IMHO
I am not even going into the all the math here, none of it adds up (e.g you write that plane tickets costed $17,200 at the beginning of the article and then write at the end that “The original $50,000 was used to pay for the plane tickets”!)
I for one am quite glad that Mule Chanin has withdrawn his involvement, I don’t how he almost succeed in taking over the Vaad, only now have you made public just how much control he sought. He was not fit to be CEO of the Vaad for so many reasons, though on a personal level he has a big heart etc..
The reason so many of us will not pay Maas Hakohol is because most of us believe that the election of R’ Braun was fraudulent and we do not accept him as Rov.
It is time that this whole situation is bought before a Beis Din of competent LUBAVITCHER Rabbonim, perhaps Rabbi Landau of Bnei Barak could handle it (he has sorted out the mess within Merkos quite well, most people in CH don’t even know the details of that Din Torah, it was handled without a fuss and to the satisfaction of all concerned).
Dovid
Just an idea, Only those that are up to date with their mas hakahal can vote or have a say in the community affairs. from this letter it seems they can all fit at one table. let only those that care enough to pay decide. let everyone else go on minding their own business.

Primary problem of the community is that the so-called ‘leaders’ are so caught up in themselves that they fail to see outside of their own ‘little’ worlds — at this point in time they can not even fight their way out of a paper bag — Their tunnel-vision is the result of their failure to stop focusing on themselves – the ultimate form of Gaiva !!!!
How is it that this community is the laughing stock of the city ?
There is no achdus of leadership in any of mosdos or in any guidance towards the goals that the Rebbe had set before us in that all important sicha of the 28th of Nissan !!!.
28 = Koach and Nissan is the month of Geulah –
We were handed the keys to Geulah at that time — !!!!
How pitiful is it that all these years later – those that we have trusted as being mashpias, etc…have been stuck in the past.. and not able to see past their own egos !!!!!
Ad Mosai – Let all of us dispense with this nonsense !!!!
How is it hat we can not pay teachers their salaries ?
Those that have influence over our precious souls have been left out in the lurch !! There are many in our community that struggle day to day in order to feed and clothe their families !
Yet, those in charge squabble over nonsense and fail to see the big picture !!!!
We wonder at why there are many young people wandering away from our precious teachings !!! They simply see the nonsense and the hypocrisy and want no part of it…!!!
Let us focus with Achdus on the last shlichus that the Rebbe had given over to us and miracuously we will find that the financial issues will take care of themselves !!!!
rg
every family in the community should give $20! i will gladly give it today if i knew to whom i could go to on kingston.

This is just reprehensible…too big a word?, huh?…okay, you are behaving despicably..still too large of a term?….fine, I want to throw up from this disgusting verbal garbage that pretends to be advice…I used to live devotedly in C.H. and left for Sydney a year ago to be with my Bashert…I knew Rav Braun while I was here only briefly, but if I could have foreseen what the fakers and liars would lower themselves to, I would have gladly stolen his passports to prevent him from leaving Australia for the new “Crow Heights”. Believe me, it hurts me deeply to write this about my adopted hometown where the Rebbe once resided and enlightened us all. After the events of the last few years and especially recently, How can you face Hashem when you Daven?…and What do you say to your Creator when you know that you are acting no better than jungle animals?…I once firmly believed in the depth of my soul that 770 was the heart and soul of the world and that from its sacred walls would evolve the Third Holy Temple if not physically, at least spiritually. Please I ask you…cast of the clever Sitra Acha whose tentacles have suffocated your faith and good reason…break the chains that bind you and emancipate the spirit of our Master, who is now enslaved through your senseless hatred and cowardly actions. If you think I am being dramatic, check yourselves in the mirror and evaluate your behaviors, recognizing that there is no time to waste…do Tchuvah, act now according to the Torah and regain our sanity…Please!

Hope you keep your kids in Ca. Believe me, as you say, you and your
kids are outside, way outside. I spent many years in Ca., and I can
only say one thing about what I saw in Ca. HEFKER. The men, the women, the children HEFKER. Don’t worry, you are outside alright,
way outside of Torah, Mitzvots, Yiddishkeit, chinuch, etc. Please
stay in Ca. Stay on the beach, stay on Melrose. Melrose has a better atmosphere than the yeshiva. At least on Melrose your children may learn something. If they go, or went to the yeshiva
over there, for sure with that education they are, as you say,
love outside, for sure, WAY OUTSIDE.

There are plenty of long time residents of the Crown Heights community who don’t have food on their tables, can’t pay their utility bill, can’t pay tuition etc…etc…
We get in letters and phone calls of good standing charity organization (which actually help needy families) on a daily bases, appealing for money. And the Crown Heights Jewish community Council Inc. is asking us to dig in our [almost empty] pockets for one man?
Who needs him here, who needs this Beth Din here, what has this Beth din other then controversy done for Crown Heights and its people?
Shame on the CHJCC a.k.a Vaad Hakol for asking us to pay for their stupidity!!!

What did happen to those camp scholarships?
Why don’t we have them anymore?
Was the intention of the giver to help the children go to camp or to help himself and his agenda?
If it was for the children then whats the difference whose in the council?
Besides, when the Mossrim were [officially] in the council what camp scholarships where given out, remind us?

All the rest of us have a Rov and have our Rabonim.
If you haven’t found a proper Rov until these elections took place, then you ain’t never finding because you don’t need one.
Close the CHJCC and it’s Beth Din down!!! The CHJCC and it’s Beth Din our corrupt!!!

You should know better than to talk about animals like the way you
are saying. Animals do the ratzon of HaShem. The Rebbe RAYATZ in
Lekkutei Diburrim says, “ Man is given G-dly intellect, and learns
his midos. Animals are given G-dly midos, and learns his intellect”
This is what has become of man’s G-dly intellect. Look at the midos
that they have acquired. I told the new Rav that there is no Rav that can help the situation. They need training, they need a trainer, but they DO NOT want it. The problems are NOT the responsibility of the Rov. Any of them. That is not their field of
expertise. And to be quite blunt they, do Not have the apptitude,
capabilties or ability to help with the problems facing Yiddishkeit. The people should realize by now that wherever they have turned & whatever they have tried has failed them. Wake up already Yidden. Open your eyes.

Rabbi Braun: come back to sydney.
Better the devils you know than the devils you don’t.
The way it should have been
The way the election should have taken place is that if Rabbi Braun (I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s a genuine Rabbi) wanted to be a candidate, he should have agreed to pay his own way here or fundraise it.
Imagine if they would tell us a year ago that each Crown Heights family has to cough up $100 BEFORE the elections for Braun’s moving expenses and his higher salary amount (than his opponent would have required) pending his election win, and if he loses, each family would be refunded the $100. I wonder what the election outcome would have been had they taken that route.
Also, at what point to we say that there has to be a budget for a rov? Meaning, beis din announces a vacancy and how much the maximum they can pay for salary, and if the salary is sufficient for a potential applicant, ONLY THEN do they accept his candidacy. In the USA, the salary of politicians are established, and voters know when they cast their ballot, how much the winner’s salary will be. We weren’t afforded this transparency.

My kids don’t hang out in those places, BTW how are YOU so familiar with all the Shmutz SO C*l has to offer??
My children go to wonderful Chabad schools with chassidishe teacers and. Learn chassidishe hanhogos. They consistently send top students to various competitions worldwide and win!
The Rov in the Shul I Daven is not perfect but he tries very hard to lead his community in the proper way, the biggest prblem he has is with the younger couples who have moved here from places like CH who are basically not frum not in their conduct nor in their beliefs nor in dress. They also send their kids to local MONTH day schools but waltz in Shabbos morning (the only time anyone sees them) at around 11:30 – you know the type, the same rubbish that hangs out by your shuls…
The conduct of the Rabbonim (I hesitate to call them that but I must) of the schuneh is nothing less than disgraceful petty fights over money and political manuevering is what surely
Caused the young people to reject anything holy.
The vaad hakohol are a bunch of bumbling fools who consistently add nothing of value to the community
All in all, a laughable, dysfunctional, embarrasing place to live.
So we all pity you.

I heard that the chjc get millons of dollars a year
they bought 6 appartments in the 580 crown st
how in the world they dont have money to pay the Rabbis?

Why should Crown Heights pay for all his belongings? When any other person gets a job in another country, HE has to pay his way there, why is this any different?
good luck in raising that kind of money when half the community doesn’t even want this “Rabbi”.
I for one, would not give a cent.
Just wondering to myself
Rabbi Bogomilsky can probably save the community. He is so brilliant. Ask him to help.

the other day chjc returned 80 thousand dollars!!!
if they have tis money sitting there ,why they didnt pay te rabbonim before?

The Analyst
Hackiner: Pull YOUR head out of the sand. Maybe it isn’t there. Then you are totally in a cocoon.
The unaffiliated intelligent and thoughtful people in the community are waiting for Rabbis Rosenberg and Kraus to clarify some important issues.
Why do I remember Rosenberg telling the Vaad to obey the ikul of Kraus? Furthermore, am I dreaming that he wrote a letter specifically indicating there are still outstanding matters, but that under current circumstances he is not proceeding unless all 5 Rabbonim can be in one place and discuss.(Shavuos?) He also mentioned “other matters” which seemed obvious to say that Zaki was doing things in his (Rosenberg’s) name, when it simply was not true.
I was impartial (to the 2 sides) but have realized that one side will simply not listen to logic (surprisingly some eltereh chassidim) and begin to actually scream (with face distortion) that the other side are mecharchey riv. When asked a question, they just continue. There is no rational discussion. Raw emotion. That raw emotion fueled the the ramming of Braun down the communities throat, without a rational discourse. (eg, someone here raised the issue, that we were not told that a vote for Braun is a vote for chipping in big time.)
Yossi Hackner: I personally am extremely disappointed in you. You went along with the shotgun appointment. You shot yourself in the foot. There is a silent groundswell of opposition to Braun (if only because he was slipped under the rules, then rammed down our throats.) A friend recently had a chat with him. He is drinking the koollaid notion that it is only a few mecharchrey riv behind the Kraus and Rosenberg rethink. Are you also under that impression? You better get out there and speak quietly to your constituents and you will find that that is an absolute fabrication. (There are baalei machloikess on either side, but I have come to learn on which side they are the one’s in control.)
Oh, and by the way, are the “youth” flocking to Braun’s office yet, to take advice? He dreamed of a Mizrach seat, and you guys dreamt of a local small community rov communicating with them. In a small place, he who meets everyone (youth included) at the two barmitvah’s a year, and the 4 brissen. That’s where ALL the people turn up. Here? Would he stand a chance at a simcha to chat with youngsters? Get real. and go get money to clean up the mess you made.

CHELEM JCC
Dear Mr Hakner
Let me start and tell you that I do not feel sorry for you.
The community voted the mossrim out and you (the current vaad) brought them all in. start with the fact that Eli Cohen was not sent home when you came in to office and Chanina was brought in as the INTMANTAGOVEL. How is it that you go against the communities wish???
And than you ran an election to the Rabbi and broke every rule. This candidate did not register on time as set by the zabla and he was not OVER 40 to be qualified as a candidate for rabbi (and lets not even talk about the lack of SMICHA)
And the dirty campaign ran by the lowlifes friends of this candidate.
And now you are asking IF 1000 PEOPLE ELECTED THE RABBI WHERE IS THE $180,000.00 ???
The answer is he did not get the vote and HENDEL MENDEL should pay for the rabbi he bought. The community has no obligation to buy a rabbi for Hendel Mendel and his mossrim.
An orange and a false Rabbi
This is my responsibility WHY????
I wanted to buy an orange today. AN ORANGE. ONE ORANGE. Price: $1.49.
And I should find money to pay for a “Rabbi” I don’t want? Please tell me WHY!
I don’t give a flying leaf for Mr. Braun. If you idiots on the Vaad promised to pay for his outrageous moving expenses, that ain’t MY problem.
Don’t come whining to me, buddy, I can’t afford an orange. I wish I was getting the salary you all promised this fraud. Then I could maybe afford two.
Make Rosenberg pay
He screwed this community for nothing, let him pay it all back. Don’t come to me you’ll get nada.

“As I promised at ‘Meet the Candidates’ that I will communicate better than previous Board Members of the CHJCC and the Vaad Hakohol”
Why is it that you waited a whole year to make a report? Maybe if you came forward with a monthly bulletin the problems would be nipped in the bud before they grew, or the solutions would be easier.
Last week Rashi cautions us to help a person before he hits the floor; borrowing from his phrase: one person (in a VAAD) can help PREVENT the donkey from falling, after its falls even if you had five people it would not help.
And in your poor effort to report — why does this letter show up a week AFTER the DUE DATE…? On the day we read the Kelolos….?

Those who fund all the lawsuits and Messira for the CHJCC a.k.a. Vaad Hahol, should also fund this!!!
Now you tell us?
If I knew that the salary is $98000.00 plus all expenses paid by no less than $36000.00 (and I assume that health insurance is additionally paid for) and you need no Smicha and you can break all the rules set for the elections like not being 40 and submitting your candidacy less than 30 days and Rosenberg will pass you, I would run without question, I and hundreds of others have no Smicha, no Shimush, no 40, never declared as candidates 30 days before the election, and we all can enjoy such a hefty salary plus expenses and benefits.
Why the need to import this guy from down-under who is dragging our entire community down-under? There are enough shlubs like him right here in the neighborhood.
Now you tell us?
That’s outrageous!

Auditor at Large CPA firm of Non-Profits
To #38 and all others interested, you can see the CHJCC’s 990 tax return online at Guidestar.org if you create a free account. The latest information is a bit outdated by now though. It should in theory reflect the audited financial statements, but the preparer of the return is definitely no big name in non-profit accounting (Yehuda Bunker), not to say he didn’t do a good job on the return.
A majority of their revenue in the year ending 6/30/09 came from government grants, with the remainder contributions and investment income. Their expenses look pretty shady. While they list grants to individuals (helping out poor people) as 261k, they list a mysterious line item of “materials” for 495k. That would never pass at my firm. A majority of the other expenses are salary related. They do not make their financial statements available to the public.

As usual it is always about money! That is all Chabad EVER focuses on…whats in it for me? Stop living with plane fares to everywhere, fancy houses, silver kiddush cups, endless schools for your children and do your job like everyone else! If you are really good your income will reflect your performance. Novel thought????

Hey
Does it not say “dont judge someone until you are in his place”?
It is painful to read the hate that is steaming from your words.
The have done studies that show that people are always quick to come up with excuses for themselves and the farther removed from you they get the get the less likely it becomes for you to rationalize on their behalf.
On a different note you blame the Rabbi’s misconduct as the reason for people not staying in the fold(fully that is). I would venture to say that it is not as you had suggested but rather that there are many reasons people are straying. Parents have to many kids and can not give them the attention they need, the frum schools are badly structured and the teachers lack the desire to make any changes(7:30am to 9:30pm 7 days a week how many would stay frum). There are many other reasons to many to put to paper however those are the main ones schooling and lack of parenting(due to the number of children in most family’s)

You are so very shallow indeed. You seem like the type that says, “what’s the big deal for a guy to get 90k to live on?! I played with penny stocks and made $35,000 in 1 month and it was only several hours of trading. Therefore, if a guy struggles with parnosso, the only logical explanation is that he’s a lazy bum”. That’s not to say that there are no lazy people around. Of course there are but…

“It’s been almost one year since the election; not much has changed from the first day I got the keys to the Kingston Ave. office until tonight, as I sit and write this letter.”
Do the math
If I understand #52 correctly
“they list grants to individuals (helping out poor people) as 261k”
That’s 261k for the ENTIRE community!
But for ONE person its about 150k:
$98,000 salary
$17,200 for plane tickets
$18,000 for moving expenses
$19,000 BY FRIDAY TO PAY FOR THE CONTAINER.
?? expenses to Rosenberg for the whole fiasco
?? Other perks – insurance etc housing etc
Uncle Mendel
Very well written letter. A+ for Format, F for Content.
Stop in at Arlans if you dare!!!

we are not a rich community. You can not agree on a salary and perks and, and, and and etc. etc. and ask the community to foot the bills. If you want the community to pay for all this, then the community should have been consulted and been up front with what he is asking and what you would like to pay. You can not come l’acher hamayse and ask for money.
Time for Tachlis
Thanks to CH.info for providing a forum for people to express their thoughts about issues. The comments have been very much on target regarding the issue of “Rabbi” Braun, the issue of kashrus, and the issue of tznius (as emanated from the demonstration by Satmar chassidim last week).
However, “lo ha’medrash ha’ikar elah ha’maaseh”! My purpose in relaying this is to motivate people from the community, who have the ability and knowledge to do so, to organize a meeting, take action, and DO SOMETHING to resolve these issues. I hope people capable of doing so will take these words to heart. Obviously from the comments, there is a tremendous surge of support from people who want to see “yosher” and “emes” brought back to Crown Heights. It’s high time for TACHLIS!

#57 is completely wrong. Living a Torah-true way (having lots of children, learning through most of the waking day) is not what leads to people going off the derech. It is seeing those placed as living examples of Torah values not following them which makes people say “why bother?”
Disgusted by the Stupidity
Cry-baby Yossi Hackner wrote: “May I ask who is taking responsibility for these irresponsible actions?”
Answer: Take a look in a mirror. You and the rest of the fools on the Vaad are at fault for the craziness. From day one all of your positions and actions have been totally irresponsible and idiotic.
The best thing you and the rest of your cronies can do now is resign. Please take that fraud “Rabbi” Braun with you and try to get your own lives in order. You have only made matters worse for the Crown Heights community.
Something Smells
Just by the way, since when did Yossi Hackner become the face of the one who has to worry for Braun? Whatever happened to Zaki Tamir, why are the crooks and Mishichist Mossrim at the CHJCC giving us a new face to represent everything Braun?
Something truly smells here.
Let the Women Vote
That is what happens WHEN WOMAN DON’T GET TO VOTE! Rash decisions and egotism clouds rational thought.
Lay down egos and fix your own mess – don’t pin this on the community. We are stretched to the limit paying parking fines for not adhering to alternate side street cleaning rules. Show the community you are saving us some money and then we will do some talking.

The CHJCC is ignoring the Rebbe’s instructions enough, they don’t need to add letting women vote to the list.

If Hackner would have sent out a mailing to the entire community, everyone would call it a waste of money and said that he could have just posted it online. So he did exactly that! Not that I like the way Hackner worships Braun, I don’t, but he is entitled to run without knowing how to solve every problem in the world. And I don’t believe he should resign. He should just start paying attention to the ikul and stop dancing around with Rabbi Braun, until all issues are settled.
and to #70: and I’ll add the parking spaces stolen from us on Empire (as if it wasn’t already impossible to park in most of Crown Heights). As it is they stole a few spots by making pathetic curvy curbs. And then they have the Chutzpah to put a no standing sign at the last spot on the block. So in addition to the already lost spots, they take away YET ONE MORE SPOT PER CORNER! I’m not wealthy enough to own a home with a driveway, but the total disregard that the city has for our quality of life is reprehensible! Can the vaad step in for us and help us on this? I think Katzman and Sandman will agree on this one that it has to be fixed.

go women
If women would run the chjcc, non of this would happen, women think and anylize things thru before re-acting.
2) if I would be R. Braun I would never set foot here with all this machlokeis
