Kiev Celebrates Chanukah Like Never Before

A full week of celebrations spread the Chanukah light throughout Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, this year.

Among the exciting events and activities that took place: Large Menorahs were lit in malls all throughout the city, Bochurim and Shluchim visited Jews in their homes to light Menorah with them, a ‘Chanukah on Ice’ event was attended by many and a giant Menorah was lit outside the Rada, Ukraine’s parliament.

The activities were spearheaded and directed by the Chabad Shliach to Kiev, Rabbi Yonatan Markovich.
