Shul Brings Joy of Chanukah to Seniors

Levi and Avremel Piekarski of Crown Heights’ Bais Shmuel go every Sunday to put on Tefillin with seniors at an adult daycare center in Canarsie.

This Chanukah, the two cousins, joined by other Beis Shmuel congregants and their families, made a party attended by about 200 of the seniors, where they distributed Menorahs and doughnuts and danced to live music.
