Benny Friedman and Eli Marcus to Perform at CKids Shabbaton & JewQ Championship

With over a thousand children and parents from twenty-five countries set to gather in Crown Heights next week for the CKids International Shabbaton & JewQ Championship, CKids announces that two of Jewish music’s top singers will headline the weekend’s musical programming.

Benny Friedman will kick off the Shabbaton with a pre-Shabbos concert on Friday afternoon, setting the tone before families head into Shabbos together. On Motzei Shabbos, Eli Marcus will lead Havdalah and a concert as the Shabbaton transitions into the final stretch before Sunday’s JewQ International Championship.

A surprise guest performance is also planned for the championship finale.

The Shabbaton organized by CKids International, the largest network of Jewish children, brings together Hebrew School families from around the world for an immersive Shabbos experience in the Crown Heights. Children spend the weekend alongside kids from cities as far apart as Buenos Aires and New Zealand, with trips, lively davenings, and meals throughout.

On Sunday, top JewQ finalists compete on stage at the international championship, with thousands more watching live from communities around the world.
