BDE: Mrs. Sheindel Esther Zaklikovsky, 76, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of the Mrs. Sheindel Esther Zaklikovsky OBM, a Shlucha and wife of the late Shliach Rabbi Moshe Zaklikovski OBM. She passed away on Tuesday, the 9th of Shvat, 5786.

She was 76 years old.

Mrs. Zaklikovsky was the wife of the late shliach HaRav Moshe Zaklikovsky OBM, a veteran Shliach to Portland, Maine. Following their marriage, the couple went out on shlichus to Portland, where Rabbi Zaklikovsky served in rabbanus and shlichus, dedicating himself to the spiritual needs of the local Jewish community.

In later years, they relocated to Detroit, Michigan, where they were among the active shluchim involved in the establishment and strengthening of Chabad-Lubavitch institutions and Chabad Houses, working under the leadership of the head shliach, Rabbi Sholom DovBer Shemtov. Throughout the decades, Mrs. Zaklikovsky stood as a true ezer k’negdo, supporting and advancing the shlichus with quiet strength, warmth, and unwavering dedication.

She is survived by her children; Rabbi Eliezer Zaklikovsky (Monroe Township, NJ), Rabbi Mendy Zaklikovsky (Florida), Mrs. Yitty Werner (Brooklyn, NY), Mrs. Nechama Shmotkin (Crown Heights), Rabbi Yossi Zaklikovsky (Bellaire, TX), Rabbi Berel Zaklikovsky (Goodyear, AZ) and Rabbi Shmuly Zaklikovsky (East Flatbush, Brooklyn).

She was predeceased by her husband, Rabbi Moshe Zaklikovsky OBM and their sons Rabbi Dovid Zaklikovsky OBM and Rabbi Shneur Zalman Zaklikovsky OBM.
