Especially this Chanukah: Join the “Unity Letter” Campaign for Protection
In light of recent events where Jews were killed “Al Kiddush Hashem” while taking part in “Mivtsa Chanukah,” we share part of the Rebbe’s talks about “Mivtsa Ois B’Sefer Torah” from 19th Kislev and Shabbos Chanukah 5742.
On 19th Kislev, the Rebbe asked that, in addition to the usual Chanukah efforts, special care be taken that each Jew acquires a letter in the “Unity Torah”.
On Shabbos Chanukah, the Rebbe cited the verse in Daniel (12:1): “At that time your people will be saved, everyone whose name is found written in the book.” He explained this refers to those with a letter in the “Unity Torah”, and said every Jew should have a letter, calling it a Segulah for protection in times of trouble.
