Cincinnati City Hall Marks The Upcoming Holiday of Chanukah

The leadership of the Jewish community of Cincinnati gathered at Cincinnati City Hall to celebrate the upcoming Yom Tov of Chanukah. The crowd was addressed by members of the City Council and the Jewish Federation – and JCRC – of Cincinnati.

Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, of Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati, spoke of the history of public Menorah lightings and relevant lessons to be learned from the lights of the Menorah.
